I'm excited and proud to have been invited to exhibit work from my Boat Hulls series at the East Hampton Town Marine Museum this season. The exhibit will run from June 17 through September 30 and will feature images taken in and around East Hampton, as well as elsewhere in the Northeast, Portugal, Spain, and England.
The Marine Museum is dedicated to documenting and preserving East Hampton Town's maritime history and to telling the unique story of Long Island's East End community and its relationship with the sea through artifacts, photographs, models, and displays. The museum is part of the East Hampton Historical Society (EHHS), the parent organization for a complex of five museums, national landmark historic sites and workshop facilities. The East Hampton Historical Society serves the residents and visitors of East Hampton by collecting, preserving, presenting and interpreting the material, cultural and economic heritage of the town and its surroundings.
We're in the process of scheduling related events, such as an artist's tour/talk, so stay tuned.
